They allowed me to come in last second today to see if they could patch my tires. Ultimately, it wasn?t possible, but the staff were incredibly polite and went out of their way to explain the situation to me in detail, what my options are, and they laid out the information for me where it was clear and easy to understand. They also respected me and didn?t try to upsell me. These guys are awesome and they will go out of their way to help you out ??....

I?ve been a Mr. Tire customer for roughly 20 years and have usually used the Old Bridge location without this kind of issue. I scheduled an online appointment for the Union location for 8:30 AM on 6/18/2026, and the appointment request was received on 6/16/2026 at 6:10 PM. I came prepared to purchase four Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 tires for my 2022 Volkswagen Atlas, with the estimated total after rebate shown at approximately $1,115.92 before taxes. When I arrived, the shop seemed completely unaware of the appointment. The interaction was disorganized and dismissive from the start. Nearly every basic detail had to be repeated, and I was questioned repeatedly in excessive detail about what kind of tires, how many tires, and why I needed tires at only 24,000 miles. The issue was not simply mileage. The tires were dry-rotted, with a DOT date indicating the 31st week of 2021. That should have been treated as a legitimate safety concern, not brushed off or treated like an unreasonable request. After that experience, I left without having the work done. Mavis was happy to take the business, make the approximately $1,200 sale, and pick up a new customer. This location lost a long-time Mr. Tire customer because of poor organization, poor communication, and dismissive service.....
